A Home Caregiver Course trains individuals to provide care and assistance to people who are elderly, disabled, chronically ill, or recovering from illness or surgery. The course typically covers essential caregiving skills, safety protocols, and communication techniques to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
Course Description:
This course consists of two parts, Child and Senior caregiver, which prepares students to become competent and compassionate home caregivers by teaching them the fundamental skills required to assist clients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and basic medical care. Students will learn about patient safety, infection control, and emergency response, as well as how to offer emotional and social support to clients and their families.
Duration: 700 Hours
Admission Requirements:
Mature student status (19 years or older).
